A TRIBUTE to the FIRST LADY of A.C.M.G.

Updated: Jan 19

TO THE LIFE AND LOVE OF: JOANNE CARR aka The FIRST LADY of A.C.M.G.

JOANNE FIRST TIME

For those of you who never got a chance to know her, Joanne was one of the veteran members of this group dating back 8 years ago.

She was not only an admin of this group but also one of the original co-hosts of A.C.M.G., presents TALK TIME LIVE. Joanne brought a lot of love, positivity, and sophistication to A.C.M.G., that is lost in today’s current social climate.

She would always greet the members of this group with a warmhearted “Good Morning” which would set a lot of members right for the day. She enjoyed herself daily with this group whether it was socializing with others about her favorite comic book shows on the TALK TIME post, gaming, wearing comic book inspired clothing and accessories or helping in any way.

The First Lady demonstrated what we all should be as a community. She will be remembered for her great presence, her glowing smile, and her sensual voice. Sadly, Joanne left us way too soon. She only got to do one episode of TALK TIME LIVE which I just listened to last night.

Joanne’s passing was both devastating and inspirational to me.

When it was announced that she died it was in addition to a family member passing in that very same week. Both being our age demographic which is incredibly young.

It was then that I decided to leave my corporate job of 10 years to pursue what I am proud to do today. It was a hard reminder that we can’t just live life not living up to our full potential. None of us are exempt or entitled to a long-lasting life.

None of us are exempt or entitled to tomorrow. I am more than happy and proud to look up at both Joanne and my mother and say, “I did not and your belief and support of me was not wasted.” I made sure of it and will continue to do so.

For those who knew her please take the time to reflect on the memory. We need more like Joanne more than ever. Not only in this group but in social media in general.

As long as this group and I exist your role in it will never be forgotten.

REST IN PARADISE and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU LADY CARR
